General Science and Humanities department in DJSCE provides a well rounded university education and equips students with a broad theoretical and practical background to meet the new and demanding problems of our technological society.

Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Communication skills are the four fully fledged departments proudly presenting the Gen. Science and Humanities division. The department is fully furnished with highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching and supporting staff.

Science and Mathematics have played a great role in broadening human minds and those disciplines are essential to understand human nature. Studying humanities will give a familiarity with the language of emotion. That familiarity can also be enhanced by the knowledge of science, mathematics and engineering.

The department being the backbone of engineering offers a unique and complete program in the study of general scientific engineering and linguistic concepts, principles and phenomena with sufficient emphasis on computer aided analysis and industrial applications.
