ICT Enabled Tools for Effective Teaching Learning

In the current age of technological advancement, it is essential for teachers to be proficient in ICT tools for both teaching and evaluation to effectively reach millennial students. In order to facilitate this, institute has provided a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure as follows:

  1. Each classroom is equipped with 85” senses smart boards. Classrooms also have access to LAN / WIFI Facility.
  2. Institute has Secured WIFI Internet Access facility available for all the Teachers and Students either on their Smartphones or on the laptops.
  3. Institute has high-end computers with latest configurations – Intel Dual Core, Quadra core, Intel I3, I5, and I7 Processor. All the Systems are connected through LAN.
  4. Institute has 500 MBPS Internet Leased Line accessible to students and teachers after authentication through Radius Server. Internet is distributed through Network Switches and WIFI access Controllers and Access points.
  5. Institute has a full-fledged platform MS-Teams enhancing the functionality and features of teaching and learning. Microsoft Teams enhances teaching and learning by facilitating communication, collaboration, and organization. It allows teachers to conduct virtual classes, share documents, and create and grade assignments. Additionally, features like chat, channels, and announcements in MS-Teams keep students engaged. MS-Teams also has a feature to gain insights into student performance thus achieving continuous evaluation, making it a valuable tool for modern education.
  6. Teachers are motivated to create quality e-content using various tools like Screencast-o-Matic, PowerPoint screen recorder etc. Resultantly, some of the teachers have published their content on various platforms including YouTube channels.
  7. Virtual labs in collaboration with CDAC are created by department of Information Technology.
